Systems Engineering Manager

Reponsibilities：

· Directing the activities and operation of the Engineering Team

· Coordinating and implementation of tactical plans as well as the management of various projects that increase sales, improve overall service and eliminates costs associated with non-value added activities

· Managing resources to meet objectives and goals

· Maintaining responsibility for planning, budgeting and implementing department expenditures

· Recruiting and retaining talented technologists, including software developers, architects, test engineers, and other personnel

· Coaching, developing, and evaluating the performance of first line technical manager and team leaders

· Managing projects for high availability, mission critical software applications, with roles ranging from local management of key components to full project ownership

· Coordinating activities with engineering teams and business teams globally

· Growing the overall technical and business capabilities of the Software Engineering team

· Budgeting, reporting, and general departmental management activities

· Ensuring adherence to local laws, company policies and ethical standards

Any other project assigned by Management

Requirements：

· B.S. Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

· MBA or Post-Graduate Business Degree preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of experience with special concentration in the following:

· Energizing and Motivating Software Engineering Teams

· Transactional, database driven client-server software

· Embedded software systems

· Experience with agile software development methodologies

· Full design cycle experience, from initial architecture through field release

· Specific experience building teams of 10-50 people

· Specific design and management experience with high availability, mission-critical software

· Design for Manufacturing

· Lean/Six productivity training or certification preferred

· Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written are critical
