Job Description
- Serve as a HR strategic business partner to the regional operation managers and department managers to drive business and people results.
- Ensure that each region and department is adequately and suitably staffed on a timely basis to meet requirements.
- Provide supervision to full spectrum HR functions: including headcount planning, payroll, learning & development, recruitment, HRIS, performance management, retention, leadership development, succession planning, etc.
- Ensure full compliance of HR operation with local and national labour laws and regulations in PRC and Hong Kong.
- Liaise with HR outsourcing vendor to ensure smooth and effective HR support to all employees
- Engage proactively in regular communication with all employees.
- Ensure that the compensation and benefits programs are cost effective.
- Manage HR budget and plans
- Work closely with the Asia HQ team to implement regional and Global HR initiatives in China
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Mainland China and Hong Kong
- Bachelors or Masters Degree, preferably with specialization in Human Resources, from a premier institution
- Minimum 10 years experience in Full spectrum of HR with at least the last 3 years in managerial position
- Strong combination of strategic and operational HR experience
- Experience in designing new HR processes or redesigning/streamlining existing ones - to align with business strategy - would be ideal
- Experience with MNC in high-tech equipment or life science sector or sales/marketing/service environment
- A successful track record of leading or managing OD/Change Management initiatives
- Experience in SAP HRIS and Mercer TSR
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and team building skills; strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Dynamic with pleasant disposition, able to work in a fast paced and lean environment
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and countries.
