Client: German manufacturer of ventilators for different industrial applications
Salary: Competitive Salary(depending on experience)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Location: Shanghai, China
Travelling: Willingness to travel extensively within China
Reporting to: General Manager in Shanghai
# of subordinates: 4
Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization to support the customer
- Integrate with and support the company plans
- Manage the achievement of Long Term and Annual Sales, Expense Plans
- Develop and update market knowledge
- Maintain current knowledge of customer and competitor activity
- Develop and manage the marketing plans for the assigned market segments/applications/customer
groups
- Develop and manage account plans
- Assess area for new markets
- Solicit new customer sales
- Closely monitor and report on competitive activities
- Lead, develop and motivate the team members
- Responsible for maintaining a pleasant and safe working environment
- Other duties and projects as required
Requirements:
- University Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Mechanical/Plant Engineering or
Electrical Engineering preferred; if graduated in Business Administration technical basics are
required
- At least 3 years of Sales Experience in industry
- Analytical skills, especially to develop and enlarge new markets
- Negotiation skills in handling OEM customers and agents
- Poise, strong ability to assert oneself and to argue, internally as well as externally
- Sales experience with HVAC preferred
- Perfect handling of common MS-Office tools required
- Leadership experience
- Best reputation and references necessary
- Proof of any sales success
- Entrepreneurial
- Strong communication skills
- Good organizing ability
- Negotiating skills
- Good presentation skills
- Chinese: mother tongue
- English: good, especially technical English
- Good German is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within China
- Strong self-initiator
- Confident
- Assertive
- In good health
- A good sense for aesthetics
