Autodesk Research drives product innovations through exploration of new ideas and technologies. Our interests range from methods to help users learn powerful digital prototyping techniques quickly, to simulation as a design tool, enabling designers to achieve new levels of design and performance through technologies such as digital ergonomics and architectural design simulations. To support innovation and discoveries in this realm we work on some of the most interesting and challenging research topics in human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and design. We collaborate openly with the leading research universities around the world who are exploring these areas.
Autodesk China Research Development (ACRD) works closely with Autodesk Research in US and Canada to explore and innovate. We are looking for talented, passionate and energetic research candidates to join us. You will have opportunity to work with leading scientists, including winner of Academy Award for Technical Achievement on cutting-edge computer technologies, and apply them into our products. Your research will influence tens of millions of people's life, from the buildings they live in, the cars they drive, to the movies they watch.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct original research in Autodesk interested areas, such like graphics, computer vision, HCI, cloud computing, SaaS, web computing, reality capture, augmented reality, simulation, modeling and reconstructing, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, etc.
• Implement advanced prototypes to integrate the research results into current or future Autodesk products.
• Evangelize research ideas inside Autodesk; take leadership to present research ideas to key stakeholders.
• Establish connections with outside research community such like universities and research institutes.
• Patent research results.
Qualification:
• PhD or Master degree in computer science or related fields. PhD preferred. Master candidates should have at least 2 years' research experience.
• Strong research and implementation capability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have good teamwork skills.
• English: fluent
