Oil price has increased more than 70% from a year ago.
No, it's not because of Nigerian or Norweign strikes but
for something more fundamental.

And it's finally starting to bite at the gas station.
The market is still in denial as of right now.
If oil hold on or go higher at these levels in the next
three to four months (which
I think is highly likely due to the fundamentals), it will
bite at consumer spending, depress earnings, the
stock market and the housing market. If the fundamental
in the supply/demand does not change, we can have another
Dec 1974 where DOW declined 40% from its 1973 highs.
Marginal companies will fold, more people will be out
of a job, market will panic, stock valuation will come
down. The next 18 months will be much more interesting
and will be a golden opportunity to double the networth
of a patient investor.
