The company is a global top 50 US company.
Position:National Sourcing Manager,
location in Shenzhen,
Responsibilities:
Source and develop new suppliers and technologies that would result in a competitive advantage for the company;
Actively participate in communication with sites and other commodity leaders to achieve the best total acquisition cost;
Execute and/or support supplier survey and/or qualification for new and existing suppliers;
Aggressively drive for cost deflation or avoidance through negotiation, finding alternative sources or through process improvement;
Provide market information in terms of competitors, technology trends, country profile, and new suppliers entrant on a regular basis;
Lead projects in China.
Requirements:
A Procurement or Supply Chain professional having a minimum of 5 years of regional working experience in an Engineering or Technical Products environment;
Possesses a professional operations/engineering/supply chain qualification from a reputable University, a MBA in Supply Chain would be an advantage to this position;
Strong project management skills, execute project with excellent negotiating and influencing skills;
Possess good interpersonal skill, a team player and having determination to succeed;
Broad commercial acumen, able to recognize and act upon commercial opportunities;
High integrity is a MUST for this position;
Able to work effectively in a cross cultural and diverse environment;
Has a sense of speed and urgency;
Good experience in supplier's assessment and qualification skill.
