[b]Position Title : Process/Process Risk Management Manager
Location: Asia Pacific Region
Job Profile:
The multinational Company Engineering develops, designs, maintains and continuously improves our manufacturing facilities throughout the world. Assignment in the Capital Deployment Engineering Group will focus on internal project supporting our entire portfolio of businesses throughout the Asia Pacific Region.
Process development/design engineering develops and implements capital improvement projects for production facilities .Responsibilities include:
Identifying and developing project options
Conducting details design of facilities – equipment design and selection, layouts, instrumentation, safety /health and environment design, and process control
Supervising start up operations and implementation of new processes in existing plants.
Managing projects for capacity increase within existing facilities
Over see work of less experience engineers on process development activities
Manage process risk review for existing plants and new plants (PHA, HAZOP and LOPA etc.)
Individual will work closely with research ,production ,engineering and business employees throughout the world –utilizing a disciplined work process for implementing capital within the corporation.
Travel throughout the Asia Pacific Region is a requirement for successful completion of these job functions .Extended trav[b]el may be required, particularly during construction phases of projects.
Skills and Experience Required:
University degree in Chemical Engineering –Master or Advanced Degree preferred
8-10 years of experience in the field of chemical process safety or chemical process development or design
In depth knowledge of various process and unit operations
Experience on Process Hazard Analysis and Risk Management such as PHA, HAZOP, etc.
Experience with distributed control systems
Strong computer skills
Desirable Skills:
Experience working on international project or with Western based company
Project management skills –experience with budgets ,estimates ,schedules and cost controls
Demonstrated ability to lead HAZOP and produce qualified study and reports
Knowledge of quantitative risk methodologies
Strong interest in becoming an EHS professional
