Went salmon fishing last weekend on a chartered boat in Michigan Lake. There was a fishing tournament going on during the weekend, therefore the small town was quite crowded. We started 400pm , came back at about 1000pm. We caught 6 fish, 2 king salmon, 4 coho, lost about 10 due to skills and bad luck. The fish line was snaped a few times when the fish was reeled close. Once 2 rods were hooked at the sametime. When we reeled the fish close to the boat. Two lines got tangled together and we lost both. I hooked the last fish when we just about to head back. The fish fought hard. It took me about 15 minutes to get it close, and it started to jump out of the water and go under the boat. We could not get the fishing net close up to the fish. It was fighting like hell and snaped the line at the last second. We thought we had it in the net, but it got away. I could see and feel the fish is about 20+ lb. It was a good fight. I felt good about it, but my arms were sore for a while. Attached are some photos.

one good thing about the beaches in Michigan, it is fresh water, and you can bring all your relatives and anyone you know...
again only one naked body...

they went out early AM and are busy cleaning fish
they had better luck than us, or they are better than us...
our boat, it was only 2 weeks old, costs close to one mil$$$. we were lucky.
