Key responsibility:
Coordinate complete programs and projects for export.
Manage suppliers in terms of prices, delivery performance and quality performance in accordance with Knorr-Bremse Group standards and ISO/TS expectations.
Develop and deploy a strategy for cost reduction and sustainable supplier base.
Report to Purchasing Manager Dalian plant & Head of purchasing East Asia.
Qualification requirements:
1. University or college degree majoring in mechanical/ engineering or project management
2. At least 5 years’ experience of purchasing or sales in automotive industry, mechanical industry, electrical or electronic industry, with very good experience in pricing, in nationalization programs and export programs
3. Strong project management skills
4. Good knowledge about requirements of ISO/TS16949
5. Strong leadership and autonomy with entrepreneurial behavior
6. Reliable and honest, frank and direct, good communicator and team player
7. Excellent English language skills
8. Flexible for traveling in China and overseas (Brazil and others)
9. Excellent presentation and reporting skills
