Not the funding need!
Do you know how the VCs do valuation? They pay for their shares of the companies based on the valuation. The more profitable the company, the higher the growth rate, the more a VC will pay for the share. Good profitability numbers don't hurt, what's important is you have to find a growth story.
Commercial banks extend loans based on the financing need.
You cooked the number, and the VC didn't find out? The VC is either too dumb or it hasn't done its homework
