If you did an illeagl transaction, and made 500M profit, then SEC fined you 50M and nobody took responsibility, would you do it again? ( it is stupid not to do it again)
Don't get me wrong, I know SEC is not doing its job, but HFs are doing all kinds of illegal things to manipulate the market. Like NSS(Naked Short Selling), you can short a stock but you CANNOT be NAKED.
I expect SEC could uphold the law and enforce securities regulations(like Regulation SHO). Let the axxhxxxs suffer.
To be honest, Hedge Fund and Private Equity are bad words in my dictionary, not include those value funds (like Joel Greenbalt, Monish Pabrai)
