Right, the homemade automobile industry is not going south, but it's a market that the Western and Japanese car makers not willing to get into. In addition, it takes at least 5 years to establish an automobile brand. The success of chinese made cars is yet to be witnessed -- although I personally hope it will succeed.
Chinese agriculture is basically out of the competition. The most recent government policy change to remove agriculture tax may help reboot the Chinese agriculture.
Only Retail Industry is still leaving some room for some Chinese businesses to exist, and that's because foreign retailers cannot simply cover such a vast population. Even in such areas, Chinese retailers are more and merely focused on groceries only. Most of the contents sold in most of the stores are western brand products, from tooth brush to computers, pens to digital TVs, paper tissues to clothings ...
