violin and violinists, I may have a few things to share with you. 俺在摇篮里就受启蒙了。 Mr. Green

我的最爱：violinists Paganini, Vieuxtemps, Kreisler, Heifetz, Gidon Kremer, Perlman, not Stern, sorry no Yehudi Menuhin.
There are a few good young female soloists I have liked such as Sarah Chang, Jennifer Koh; there is one from Chicago and the other from Toronta I forgot their names but I have their cds.

小陈对我来说，是对牛拉琴！我一下买了４张她的光盘，看了半张，实在受不了。可能我对小陈高标准，严要求了，comparing her with other well-known soloists.
To me she is not a well-trained soloist; she overdoes her body movements. She is so commercialized, like a used car saleswoman. She is a half musician and half sex symbol, period.

To whom it may concern: this is only my humble opinion. Sad

Ta MM, where is the 10 buck bet? I may be able to collect it in Shanghai soon. Cool

Classical music in general is my favorate. You may check my previous postings. Laughing
