I do not know why you believe I have a unfavorable perception of Jewish people. On the contrary, I admire their talents, their family values and achievement in US. I have many Jewish friends in my community and was routinely invited for some of their holidays. Culturally, Jews and Chinese are quite close. I guess you my refer to my post below. My previous post, which is purely factual, just points that there is an knowledge gap between Chinese immigrants and Jewish ones when both first entered this country.
Tahiti's previous post still look at America with a black-white demarcation. But in fact, the historical discrimination in US was much much sophisticated. I just wanted to show that where were/are white-white discrimination too. BTW, I am still scared if I drive through downturn black community due to the high crime rate and shabby infrastructure.
The discrimination based on national origin is still there among the white people in States, but everything improved a lot after 1960s.

You know, Catholic church prohibited jews to enter many businesses, thus the finance business was the limited choices they could pick.
Modern day banking was pioneered by Jewish bankers. And 200 years ago, there were no harvard business school to spread the business knowledge. Most expertise were passed from dad to son, partner to partner.
The first US Fed Chair was a jewish banker from Germany--a German citizen, a citizen from a potential enemy state, who landed in US around 1909 and soon became a US citizen...
I know most chinese will say it is so unfair---while, of course, they were the talented bankers who controlled the top level knowledge. Cheap labor can not argue for the same treat.
