POSITION SPECIFICATION

TITLE: Sales Manager

COMPANY

REPORT TO
Qingdao Cluster Sales manager

LOCATION:
Qingdao

PURPOSE&GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Touch point for the Qingdao located overseas based export/import key clients.
2. Lead Qingdao cluster Reefer sales to maximize company relationship with existing customers and develop further growth of reefer account base in all trades.
3. Ensure the cluster reefer budget is delivered import and export wise from a revenue/yield and volume perspective.
4. Define and execute cluster reefer strategy in line with the overall Country reefer strategy, supervise local reefer sales to act based on the strategy as well.
5. Ensure foresight/budget/FirII is timely and accurately updated on a monthly basis.
6. Act as liaison to the country reefer management and local reefer sales.
7. Maintain high level of up-to-date technical knowledge concerning refrigerated products and refrigerated containers including special equipment and ensure cluster reefer sales have the same level as well.
8. Identify, communicate and initiate action on reefer market development
9. Maintain high level of communication / co-operation for all activities both internally and externally to meet reefer customer’s requirements and company goals
10. Anticipate problems and implement effective problem solving related to Qingdao Cluster reefer sales team, this includes being able to explain technical issues to customers as well as understand and action customers specific technical/practical need necessitated by e.g. geographical location or physical surroundings.
11. Drive Qingdao Cluster reefer sales team to act in the company’s interest in claims prevention issues. Assist local sales maintaining relationship and understanding of the customers’ real needs as opposed to wants through jointly visiting reefer customers if any.
