不管离了还是没离。People will try their best to get their money back, even one cent out of each dollar cheated, period.

Ruth Madoff, the wife of convicted Ponzi-scheme operator Bernard Madoff, reached an agreement with a court-appointed trustee who is gathering assets for defrauded investors whereby she will provide the trustee with a monthly accounting of her income and payments.
Under the agreement, approved on Friday by a federal bankruptcy judge overseeing the liquidation of Mr. Madoff's defunct firm, Mrs. Madoff will account for any expense that exceeds $100.
The agreement was reached as part of a lawsuit filed last week by the trustee, lawyer Irving Picard, against Mrs. Madoff. The lawsuit seeks to recover some $44 million on behalf of victims of the Madoff fraud.

Ruth Madoff is escorted by private security after visiting her husband in a New York jail in April.
.Mrs. Madoff's lawyer, Peter Chavkin, called the suit "perplexing and totally unjustified," considering that she recently agreed to give up her potential claim to more than $80 million of assets, keeping just $2.5 million in an agreement reached with federal prosecutors who brought the criminal case against her husband.
But Mrs. Madoff's agreement with Mr. Picard, which shows that Mrs. Madoff owns a nearly $600,000 tax obligation to New York state, will allow her to spend money on "reasonable living expenses" as well as taxes and legal fees.
Mr. Chavkin called the agreement "a reasonable accommodation based on the trustee's lawsuit, and allows her to go forward in a responsible and fair way." The trustee can now "monitor what she spends and prevent her from spending on inappropriate things," said Marc Hirschfield, counsel to the trustee at law firm Baker and Hostetler LLP.
In the months after her husband's arrest, Mrs. Madoff had been living under a voluntary asset freeze whereby prosecutors preapproved all of her expenses, Mr. Chavkin said.
Early last month, the 68-year-old Ms. Madoff, who has been tailed by paparazzi since her husband's fraud came to light, left the Manhattan apartment she and Mr. Madoff had shared as part of the agreement with prosecutors.
She hasn't been able to find a place to rent, Mr. Chavkin said, though he declined to say with whom she is currently staying. She also got back her passport, which she first gave up as part of her husband's bail package.
In July, federal investigators concluded at the time that they had no physical evidence linking Mrs. Madoff to the fraud, people familiar with the matter said. Without new disclosures or incriminating testimony from witnesses, she won't be criminally charged, these people said.
In June, Mr. Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison after pleading guilty in March to running a decades-long fraud scheme that bilked thousands of investors.
After the sentence was handed down, Mrs. Madoff said in a statement, in part: "Like everyone else, I feel betrayed and confused. The man who committed this horrible fraud is not the man whom I have known for these years."
