General Summary
Applications Development is an annual $3B revenue producer for HP and encompasses services including Custom Development, Existing Application Enhancements in new and legacy technologies and COTS Implementation and Development. Currently, we are rolling out Agile as our approach to Applications Development. Other focus areas include Application Security, Cloud Services, and Open Source, etc. Applications Development is a significant growth area for HP and there are currently several large deals – Jetstream and Liberty (large health care client) - in the pipeline that will have a great impact on our revenue for this offering. The right individual can have an impact on our current and future success.
Job Description
• Driving the strategy and direction of HP’s Application Development offering
• Developing product roadmap and business plan
• Executing on the product vision both hands on and through the leadership of a multi-regional team
• Executive level client presentations on our approach to Application Development
• Shaping large procurement opportunities in the Applications Development area
• Collaborating closely with Marketing, Solutioning, CTO, Engineering and field delivery teams to understand demand, determine offering features, solution packages, pricing and key intellectual property
On Board Location
Shanghai, China.
Qualifications
* Master's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
* 10+ years of Applications development experience in the field of business systems and IT services
* Proven expertise in applications development processes, such as CMMI, ISO 27001 and Agile
* Experience working with senior leadership, e.g. CxO level (both client and internal)
*Ability to learn quickly and provide innovative thinking apropos to the situation
* Experience at transforming organizations and identifying/implementing ongoing optimization initiatives
* Motivated to share experience and help / guide others
* Well-organized, flexible, and proactive
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Multiple Language skills would also be preferred, with very sound English base.
* PMP, ITIL certified is a plus
* Overseas/multiple locations working experience is a plus.
