I told them recently US universities offer many 半奖 to us cuz they know nowadays many Chinese are rich.
the reason the students need to know the answers of my questions is cuz
if they check the "no 全奖，won't come" box on the TOP-20 application forms, they might not get the admission they think they prefer [shooting on 全奖 for the 2nd semester after they get there]
if they do not check the box, they thought they might lose the greatest opportunity to study at a TOP-20 with $3000/mth stipend plus tuition free
I told them I do not believe all of those mainland Chinese who got into Harvrad were soly on their qualification. Many with power and money went there.
Harvard likes talents for fame, but they also like celebrities' kids for $$$.
Another point: among the 全奖 students from the mainland China, Chongqing University might be the one of few ranked the lowest in China!
