Job description:
As the Global Finance Consultant for WorldWide Services Procurement, your role will be to advise and assist the group in optimizing the finance function and its underlying processes and systems. You will be involved in performance improvement projects to provide tailor-made creative and pragmatic solutions to address complex problems in areas such as:
• The strategic positioning of finance within Procurement and wider organization
• Process improvement within Procurement finance
• Performance management across spend and global purchasing behavior
• Cost and pricing management
• Financial proposals to support strategic decision making
• Financial systems selection and deployment
On top of project delivery & spend management, your role will also include delivering presentations and contributing to thought leadership and business execution across Services Procurement.
Skill required:
1. Minimum Bachelors degree with an Finance related MBA preferable.
2. Oral fluency in English and Mandarin.
3. 5+ years in financial management - Procurement and/or supply chain management exposure an advantage.
4. Demonstrate solid and relevant experience in finance function re-organisation & process improvement, planning, budgeting & management reporting and cost management.
5. You must be a measured and commercial communicator, able to balance stakeholder demands with Procurement direction. This is a fine equilibrium that requires a considered and calm influencer.
6. You will be naturally inquisitive and be willing to challenge the status quo and offer novel and creative solutions.
7. Able to execute good communication and alignment with cross functional teams.
8. Able to work on multiple tasks, and understand priorities and able to communicate.
9. Thorough price/cost analysis skills.
10. Commercial acumen and business analytic skills.
11. Good writing and presentation skills.
