Before Cleveland Museum of Arts renovation, we women waited a long line in the lobby for the 'ladies" room. So please check up all the "ladies" rooms in most American big cities theaters, movie house and museums.......I bet you'll see the "ladies line......"

比利时很多地方的厕所，游泳池的更衣室是不分男女的... 问题解决了，源于人们的观念不同．
Speaking of segregated bathrooms: When I lived in Belgium, it was not uncommon to enter a "restroom" of a cafe or restaurant, and discover that aside from the urinals on one wall, the toilets in the stalls were meant for both sexes. As an American, it surprised me at first, but I got used to it. Also, a public swimming pool there had a large single dressing room for both sexes (individual stalls, of course). Different attitude, and that in a supposedly traditional "Catholic" country.

法国妇女经常＂占领男厕所＂... 也许到了下一个世纪，所有的建筑师都是女人，这个令人头疼的问题可以得到缓解．
In France, where the same problem exists (as it does in the US!) women often block off the men's pubic bathroom when it's empty for a moment then relay one another in it, to "relieve" the situation. While joking that in the 22nd century, all architects will be women, and this frustrating *global* problem will finally be solved. Perhaps their leaders will be women from China.

I bet China will solve this issue before the US will. As an female architect I've often wondered why the building code specifies the same number or men's and women's stalls in public buildings, when the difference in actual physical requirements is obvious to anyone who's ever been to a theater or a museum. My facts may be outdated (haven't practiced for a few years), but as far as I know this simple issue hasn't been resolved here either.

台湾男女厕所比例是1:3, 香港2:3, 印度1:1, 但是，男人在公共场合小解，从不介意旁边有女人．女人则必须"hold"住... 印度的女性领袖只顾自己享受，从未认真对待过其同性的基本权利．"占领男厕所＂的运动应该普及到全球.
In urban China the public place toilet ratio for men & women is 1 :1, in Taiwan it is 1:3, in Hong Kong it is 2:3.In India it is roughly 1:1.The cleaning of these public toilets is very unsatisfactory and one would prefer to avoid visit to such toilets.i had no chance to visit China, Taiwan & Hong Kong, so i refrain from commenting about the conditions there.In India, men relieve themselves in open at the most suitable & nearest place, may be a wall of a public building or a corner in a court compound. No body minds if women folk witness the scene.It is then not a breach of modesty.Women have to hold their pee till they reach the destination point ! No one has researched the relation between number of women suffering from Urinary Tract Problems vis a vis their habit of holding pee sometimes for hours !In India no one bothers about women's difficulties. i will be surprised if Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi_Vadra, Meira Kumar are serious about this basic right of their gender folk.Priyanka Gandhi_Vadra visits Ranthambhor often. A close look at corruption at all levels & public toilets at this jungle resort will underline the fact that women / female leaders are concerned about their own comforts & Free of Charge facilities!
If Ms Li remains away from Beijing or China's show piece cities,it is better for her safety.She is likely to die unceremoniously.As far as merits of Occupy Men's Toilets movement are concerned ,it should spread over the globe.
