I don't understand why you can't find job here.说句心里话，真正有本事的人在国内和国外都能混得好.
According to your qualification, if you even can't find a decent job in US, I can't imagine how you can find top-rated job in China.Remember, today China needs a great deal of senior professionals(oversea chinese) instead of "only" US degree.
My company in China recently hired a business consultant(she doesn't have oversea education and experience) with US$3000/month.That's why I don't understand why you are willing to accept RMB20K/month job in Shanghai.
