So don't worry about yourself, you are unlikely to become Bill Gates and you will definitely not be someone who can't find a job and afford himself for food and rent, you are just like most of others. Be relax and be patient.
I agree that it might be too early to conclude that you won't make progress in your career. Your upside is still unclear at this time.
I watched an NBA playoff game a couple of days ago, SA Spurs made a critical shot 0.4 seconds before the buzzer with one point lead against LA Lakers. No one in the world would believe Lakers could do anything in that 0.4 seconds, but Lakers just made their final shot within that 0.4 seconds and became the winner of that game.
Anything could happen if you don't give up. It's really fun to make something turnaround! Pal, You will enjoy it!
