I don't know why there are so many rumors about SV regarding the appearance of girls.
First, I don't know any Chinese man who is unable to find a good looking girl to marry, although they'll have to go back to China in most cases. But how hard is it to take a trip to have a marriage? Most SV chinese men marry beautiful wives -- the top girls from China. For those single men who simply want to date, it might be an issue -- I am not sure. There are so many american girls, right?
Second, 女工程师里真的有美才女. At least bug is a big 才女. The apperance of SV 女工程师里 is above average among overall 女工程师 nationwide (or worldwide?), as far as I can tell.
