most of them are junk, that's why companies only pay some nominal bonus for the inventor, like (20-100 US$), run a scan of patents, you will see very few (less than 5%) ideas get commercialized
of course, if you want to play "smoke and mirrors", that's different issues, but the point is who will be the next fool?
