at least in beijing, all the farmers can produce some kind of certificates so you think you are buying logit...think again...the fed government...not the village authority, thinks quite differently as the legaly those darn red book are piece of shit do not carry any weight, because the farmers could have got the land to build the house but the grant was based on farmers own use. when you buy it as a merchndise from them, that already voided the legality and thus you are almost like stealing from your dear old motherland...get the picture? don't let them fool you
