Per my records during June 2005 Mr. McClendon, the chairman of the company, bought about 500,000 shares of his company stocks in the open market paying $21-$23 per share; Mr. Ward, the president of the company, bought 100,000 shares on June 2, 2005 paying $21 per share; Director Ms. Burger bought 5000 shares on June 9, and two other officers bought their stocks too. The stock price is up more than 55% in 52 weeks. I don't know what is going on but the conventional wisdom says it is positive to the stock price....
