1。美国人是不存钱还是存不下钱？以我在硅谷所见，不论是caucasian or Asian, no one spends beyond their means, 但是有人live on credit。随着health care and energy cost的升高，而工资不涨，disposable income is squeezed on both ends.

2。美国人的基础教育真的有问题吗？Average score maybe down, 但是distibution of the scores有怎样的变化? 以我在CALTECH和硅谷接触到的美国人来看, 我不觉得美国会suffer a shortage of high tech talents, even if immigration slows down markedly.

笼统的说,我认为current account and social security deficits are not a sign of pending financial problems, 而是美国社会进一步贫富分化的预兆.

我在这里提出我不成熟的想法,希望听听大家的意见
