Shirley M. Tilghman was elected Princeton University's 19th president on May 5, 2001, and assumed office on June 15, 2001. An exceptional teacher and a world-renowned scholar and leader in the field of molecular biology, she served on the Princeton faculty for 15 years before being named president.

Ann Mather served as a director on the board of Central European Media Enterprises since April 2004. Previously she sat as a director for Shopping.com--until its acquisition by eBay (nasdaq: EBAY - news - people ) this year. And if that's not enough, from 1999 to 2004, she held the post of chief financial officer at Pixar (nasdaq: PIXR - news - people ), the brilliant Steve Jobs-led animation studio
