net income, earnings per share, roe is generated and compared within the firm for recent 4 years as Morgan Stanley's 2004 annual report states.

For example, financial results Net Income 2003 was $3787, 2004 was $4486.

(4486-3787)/4486 = 15.6%

which isnt the same as 14% on its report.

I am not sure about figure on the report.

Still have no idea what financial activity behind could stop stock price increase.

if they could make it higher, just why not?

what happened for Morgan Stanley in 2004?
