Role & responsibility
· Develops, reviews and recommends overall business objectives, policies and procedures covering the sales finance function.
· Establishes and ensures smooth operation of sales finance function. Ensures the operations are in compliance with the group and local operating regulations and policies.
· Accountable for profit and loss
· Plans and monitors sales finance business development, sales and marketing programs
· Identifies, negotiates and maintains good business relationships with partner banks and merchants. Liaises with respective partners to outline the business plans, interpret policies and ensure their understanding of installment guarantee services procedures in order to execute the collaboration to achieve business results.
· Ensures effective management of credit risks by implementing credit analysis and credit control procedures. Monitors overall exposure to minimize losses
· Understands customers’ needs. Identifies new business to expand market share
· Interfaces with the PRC government authorities as required to answer inquiries or make presentations
· Work closely with functional managers in Asia Regional Office.
· Ensure the business and the staff are operating in compliance with rules and regulations established by external regulatory bodies and internal guidelines.
· Take a lead to foster teamwork and trust among staff members and develop quality staff to facilitate growth.
Requirements
· University degree possibly MBA.
· Minimum 10 years experience in sales finance business or retail banking including marketing and business development (at least 5 years in managerial level).
· Requires working knowledge of credit, operations, customer services, IT & financial management.
· Customer oriented. Strong problem solving, influential, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Entrepreneur and creative.
· Good leadership skill.
· Proficiency in spoken & written English and Chinese.
