1) agree, that's why I am saying one should have as few founders as possible.

2) I would say my friends are more on a business level and not on a personal level.
We did get personal a few times when my only true partner
introduced me the website 'fastseduction.com' (recommended only 4 unmarried folks),
and we entertained discussions about closing customers vs closing girls Smile

People who can't handle a business situation gracefully are NOT friends. From
my experience in the mortgage business, many normally decently-looking people
or friends showed their other ugly side when it comes to money, even a very
small amount. Many of my
friends scoffed at me couple years ago when I entered the mortgage business and
shunned me as if I had SARS; Sad

To quote someone,
"you want to find a friend on wall street? find a dog".

3) This is a very valid point. But I would rather set up some kind of loose relation
ship (sort of like an independent contractor) rather than forming a company
together with someone. to use a computer jargon, 'tight coupling' is dangerous.
