In the last couple of years, Americans benefited a lot from their real estate gain. Thus, they put up with high oil and gas price even their income did not move much. Now, the table has turned. House price declined, the economy slowed down. Nobody wants super high oil price, even those Middle East guys since they do not want to kill the goose (the consumption nature of American economy). Political wise, election is on the way. Republican really does not want to give more bullets to Democrats, which explains the high crude price and relatively “low” gas price. But how long can this last? We either sees gas price shoot through roof or crude oil back to around $80. Anyway, DUG is very small portion of my portfolio; I am trying to test my idea. In fact, major part of my account is cash. I am really chickened now. Mad
