Are you in China and are working in the manfacturing? Actually I have a quite different background. MS in Material Science in China and MBA in Supply Chain Management in US.
When I gaduated last year, I passed two opportunities to work in China, one is in Beijing and another is in Shanghai. Both are fortune 500. One is a European pharmaceutical company and another is a American furniture company. The position is purchasing director or purchasing manager. Since I don't have GC and got another position in US, I declined both positions. In addition, I don't know the exact package and didn't ask them either.
Anyone knows the package? Furthermore, my wife doesn't want to go back.
Right now, I am working a company, which source 50% of materials in Asia. I am managing the sourcing, planning and relationship. I also travel to Asia once every three month.
I really want to look for some more opportunities especially in souring, supply chain, purchasing and planning in chemical,pharmaceutical and material industry. I have working experience in those areas.
Welcome Anyone to share his or her experience.
