I want to sincerely thank you for your employment offer for the position in **** in Shanghai and I greatly appreciate this opportunity. I valued our discussion about the position responsibilities, as well as the career possibilities within ***** in Shanghai, however, after my serious consideration about my career plan, I think that this position currently might not be a close match to me. With my deep regret, I am respectfully withdrawing from consideration. However, this position is truely a good opportunity for me, and I just feel some work experience in North America will be more helpful for my career goal even though the current job market is not great as you know. I still want to express my strong interest of working for **** in Shanghai and I really hope that with more work experience and more skills, I can join your team with more capability and contribution some time later. Anyway, I will keep in touch with your team still and I also hope that you can still keep me in file for your future consideration. Again, thank you for your time and consideration, providing the opportunity to interview with you, discussing career possibilities and learning about the work of your team.

I do not like at the last minute you tell me this decision. We waste a lot of time. So from this point, you will not get any opportunity in the future with us, no matter when you come back China. Also, frankly speaking, I never think any person with a few more years experience in US will add obvious value to us when joining our team. We are doing quite special stuffs in the world, and we mostly will build up people only by our own ways. Inside our team, a lot of international exposures, and some of international rotation opportunities. This will be only applicable for team members. You can not get this kind of value if you only take some employment in US local company. That is also the
reason why many years ago I immediately come back China after got my overseas degree, but some of my classmates if right now they come back, they need to work for me. No reason because they stay in overseas longer so that they need to get higher position. You may take Taiwan's history to study what is the conclusion for those overseas returness.
