TIHW-Turn in homework.
I tried to download the book I have, but no success.
It is not tryng to insult you people's intelligence.
I bought a book Technical Analysis for Dummies long ago, and failed to become one. Hope this time I can actually become an entitled dummy, finish this book. Anyways.
The book has 6 parts.
*Defining TA 2
*Prepare the mind 2
*Observation 3
*Patterns 3
*Dynamic Analysis 3
*rules 1
total of 14 days, that is the plan. but plan would change, or wouldn't it?
Today (the least amount done on the first day???)
TA - trend-timing-chart
Just by listing these names, TA sounds like something不靠谱. I think unless you have a steady flow of income, you don't want to use TA as main tool of investment, because you could lose a lot of your savings.
TA is not about buy and hold. it is about trading < 1 year.
Risk averse- embrace a way of thinking that is always sensitive to risk.
CUT YOUR LOSS AND LET YOUR WINNERS RUN. (what if you use hedge like being posted here.)
It is worth to point out it takes 100% gain to recover 50% loss. (I less than a dummy didn't pay attention to it actually)
Trends remain in place until some major even come along to stop them.
(This couldn't be true unless you specify how small the unit within the trend is. Some stocks do go nowhere. And just about anything could be major event. Priced too high can be major event.)
No security is trending all the time. (This just tell us that TA is not a science, it could be wrong at any given time.)
Tolerance of Risk
Careful and consistent (What else!)
Many people associate TA with statistical ba<x>sed graphical indicator. (linear regression is something to look at, forgot about it.)
Numbers lies all the time in price analysis. (My suspicion was right.)
Basically today nothing much, the minimum.
