1. If the deal is dead, move on. There a lot of fish in the sea. Also the deal may come back 2 years later. Sometimes you gotta maintain some dignity.
3. Hell no. My family is my family. Some of customers are great friends but business is still business. Nobody is going to cut you any slack if you don't do your job.
4. Not opposed, however, there is a difference between telling the truth and telling all the ugly warts. And trust me, every product has ugly warts. There is an art about telling truths. In golf you say "the ball found the water" and not "Phil Mickelson royally screwed up this drive and it push hooked right into the big pond".
7. If you can't prioritize, you can't lead a business.
8. Not opposed, but if you do that consistently, you are leaving money on the table. A good capitalist strikes deals at the maximum cost the market can bear.
The other ones are quite good, though. If you are negative you might as well not get into sales in the first place.
