different type of traffic are converging to data traffic,different catagory networks are converging to one data network . This will take years(I guess 5-10 years) , but it will happen for sure.
So telecom industry is under great pressure of revolution , but it also open a big opportunity for telecom industry,you can feel that from China and other asia counties.
Pure IT is not good for our growing age because of its fast changing charactor . Stay with telecom industry , then you follow the change of a industry ; Stay with pure IT , you are following those non-stop change of details...Even some
IT technology seems threatening telecom industry, like VOIP , but currently traditional telecom player adopt
co-play strategy , I think this strategy works fine with those competition.
