definitely they have science subjects as well, but not strong as MIT or Caltech...
In Princeton, even at grad level, Master of Arts degree is awarded to those who passed qualifying exam for doctoral studies, and Master of Science degree is conferred to who don't pass...
My point is that the whole Ivy League system is not practically too. Their tradition steps from the ancient greek education culture: Arts is liberal and everywhere. Understanding Arts will lead you to a comprehensive understanding of every discipline.
Based upon this notion, their education deviates from real world...
