I heard that a non-Chinese citizen only can be hired on a 5-year contract basis in China. The contract can be renewed afterwards, but non-Chinese citizens can't be hired as a permanent employee in China according the Chinese labor law. Is that true? Can anybody shed some light on this? Patrick, do you know anything about that?
