Ok, so I had a flat front tire yesterday afternoon driving back home after dance classes when it\'s raining and the road surface was totally wet and slippery. It all started when I hit hwy 2xxW exit 3x trying to get to hwy 1xx, just on the ramp that has a sharp turn making it very dangerous to drive through if your car speed is over 30mph. I was thinking of PJ\'s newborn baby and wondering what gifts I may buy her little angel when I go visit her sometime next week (I should have done that a couple of weeks ago)... Suddenly, my car began to slide, and before I could stop it (I tried, although now I know I should not have pressed on my brake so firmly), it hit the curb on the left side of the ramp and ran over it and spun on hwy 1xx 360 degrees (for a couple of times) and then stopped at the other curb of the four lanes (I don\\\'t have a drawing, and can\'t make it clearer  ).
It was quick, and I did scream when the car slid and spun (geez, just like what I saw in movies, but much much faster) feeling so scared that some car might come from nowhere and hit me and I might be seriously wounded and awefully painful and who knows what else could happen if I caused some big collisions of many other cars...Fortunately, no other cars were involved and I was OK (I was the only car on the ramp, and it was a red light just before the bridge so right at that moment, I was also the only one on that 2000ft 4-lane segment before the next signal, phew~).
Before I could figure out what\'s next, I called hubby\" wei，我出事了，不过我一切都好 ... \" as I went on and on (for a few seconds) sounding quite \"excited\" for the fact that I was so lucky not to have been hit by other cars, Wei calmed me down (in the mean time, some nice driver stopped by and tapped on my car window and checked if I was doing fine). Then I realized how many cars were running so fast passing by and it was quite difficult to get out of this busy intersection. Put my cell phone away with Wei on the other side, I finally drove to the next section and made to the far left lane inside the yellow line and then called 911...
Phew, hubby arrived minutes later, and with the help of two police cars, I made to the far right emergency lane and it tured out I had two flat front tires and some noticeable damage on the left wheel and probably the axle since the two front wheels were operating in different directions now as the police officers advised. Em, but I didn\'t see any obvious body skid marks...  Wei called AAA tow service and all the time I was still thinking how lucky I was: what if the ramp was slopy and I rolled over? what if it all happened a few seconds later?

There are a few times that I ran lucky:
- 3yrs old, injured by a pistol (accidentally) resulting in a 100% borken lower right leg with the bullet shot in and out of it. I was too little to remember the pain and little enough to have fully recovered with no side effects except for two fingertip like scars not so noticeable, hehe.
- 6th grade, hit by a motoycycle by a drunk young man when I was riding a bicycle (not bike). I was OK, hospitalized for half a day and went home 100% fine.
- yr 2003 summer, intern, walked out for lunch, ALMOST hit by a full-speed car at a pedestrian corssing. I went to church that evening (Friday).
- this time, yr 2006 summer, minor car accident.

- Don\'t hit brake so firmly if the car slides;
- Change tires in time;
- Don\'t drive too fast, especially on rainy days;
- Don\'t do anything to hurt others (on purpose or not) just in case when something bad happened you think that you are paying dues (or that karma is playing with ya) Well, I\\\'m no saint, I\'m still not saying not to revenge if others hurt you first. But forgiving is a gift that I knew...
