that China only makes low-end consumer products like shoes. The local companys have started with consumer products, but they are entering the field of automobile, eqipments and high tech equipments. Even for most of the multi-national companies, they are moving factories to China to make products like routers, switchers, fiber optics, sensors and heaby duty equipments in China. Think about this.... how difficult can it be to make precision equipments, as long as you have right materials( steel) and equipments (which can always been bought from oeverseas in the beginning.)
