汇丰集团 - HSBC Group’s full name used to be Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, because the bank’s first two branches were set up in Hong Kong and Shanghai at about the same time. Over the years, it became more and more international, to change its image, it renamed itself HSBC Group and changed the place of registration to London from Hong Kong.
Believe or not, China is the home to at least 2 financial giants, HSBC and AIG. You never know what’s gonna happen 20 years from now.
